AMAZING!! Don't hesitate! Book now if your looking for peaceful countryside scenery and the most friendly hosts. We loved every second about our stay with Lisbeth and Lars. They live on site and you share the outdoor space with them and one other rental unit. It is a beautiful country drive to a quiet location in a small village surrounded by locals and no tourists. Check in was smooth and the house was even better than the pictures! They left local ricotta cheese and homemade fig jam from their property for a fantastic breakfast. We choose to do many of the activities and suggestions they provided and it was a great experience (pasta making, cheese tour, balsamic visit, walks, and the most delicious restaurant suggestions). We invited Lisbeth and Lars to enjoy our pasta lunch. They graciously agreed and we shared food and conversation overlooking their beautiful property. We would go back in a heart beat.

We cannot recommend this place highly enough! Spectacular views, comfy & homely surroundings, great location for exploring! Buuuut hands down the best thing about the place are the two beautiful souls Lisbeth & Lars 💜 their knowledge of the area and their access to experiences that would otherwise be impossible to access made our visit truly wonderful! We saw how Parmesan & ricotto is made and also had a personal balsamic tour and tasting. Both unforgettable experiences!

It was the second place we visited on our honeymoon touring Italy and we learned so much, ate so much delicious food and drank delicious wine.

Without the incredibly friendly Lisbeth & Lars we would have not have found any of things that we did. Thank you so much to you both for helping us have an incredible stay.

Above and beyond.
finding a place for your next trip is always a gamble..
so go ahead, book this place, you won't regret it!
The location itself is perfect, in addition to that Lars and Lisbeth go above and beyond to make your stay even more perfect.

In our case, they assisted us with some reservations at great places to eat and accompanied us on a trip to a local cheese maker.

With their personal touch they made our stay here more than perfect.
So hey airbnb, where's that option for six stars...? ;)

Wow - what an incredible experience being hosted by Lisbeth and Lars in their beautiful piece of paradise! Casa Piccola is a really nicely set up stand alone accommodation - beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and very well equipped for a long stay. The highlight is of course to wonderful views of the countryside from everywhere within the casa - but when the weather is your favour, enjoying the views from all the well set up outdoor spaces is even better. The real difference maker here though is how much effort is put into making sure you have a great time while your here. The food is of course one of the big reasons people visit Emilia-Romanga and Lisbeth and Lars went out of their their way to ensure we got the best the region has to offer, providing excellent recommendations and calling and making reservations on our behalf for everything from restaurants, wineries and balsamic makers. Showing up at a restaurant filled with locals to be greeted by a friendly face who just looked at us and asked 'Lisbeth?' (before having a meal of a lifetime) was such a common occurrence! Really can't recommend this place enough, and hope others get a chance to spend some time with Lisbeth and Lars too - thanks to you both for such a wonderful stay, we hope to be back!

i don't even know how to put it in words .. but the accommodation is in a very special place with very special people. lisbeth and lars gave us such a warm welcome. In the fridge was homemade wine, cold water, ricotta and fig jam. we felt full right away! The view is breathtaking as is the accommodation! We felt at home!
Lisbeth had great tips for restaurants in the area that we can only recommend!

An absolute gem
You can stop searching now - you won’t find any better. Beautifully restored Italian country houses true to form, and you can’t help to notice the owner’s Scandinavian flair throughout. The attention to detail and warm hosting make it very special - the fresh local ricotta and homemade fig jam waiting for you in the fridge is a nice touch. Basics are obviously covered - it’s very clean, well-equipped and good wifi (my partner and I had to work and do several zoom calls - all went smoothly). The terrace is facing west so a great spot to enjoy the evenings. Terrific stay, thank you Lisbeth and Lars!

“We had the greatest of times at Casa Antonietto! Lisbeth and Lars are the best hosts one can imagine, always there to help with anything you need. Thanks to their recommendations we had amazing food at local top restaurants, lovely hikes in the beautiful countryside and trips to must-sees around the area. The house is way more beautiful than the pictures and the view is breathtaking. We definitely will be back!”

“We enjoyed a lovely stay at Casa Antonietto. Lisbeth is a good communicator. She was welcoming, kind, and lots of fun. Her information helped us get the most out of our days in Coscogno and its surrounding areas. Every suggestion she made was an excellent experience (so take her advice)~ a delightful delicious cooking class, hiking trails, the best places to dine, and learning about balsamico from a master. The accomodations are lovely, very clean, updated, and comfortable. The pool was quite refreshing, and again, very clean. The location was beautifully tranquil and ideal for day trips to surrounding towns, markets, and sights. Lisbeth's hospitality helped us feel at home. It would be a pleasure to return someday.”

We stopped at Lisbeth’s on our way to a wedding in Verona. The location is absolutely beautiful and just what we needed to get some rest and relaxation before a weekend of celebrations! Lisbeth and Lars were so welcoming and attentive. They made great recommendations for us to see the local sights and take advantage of local businesses. We truly enjoyed our time at Casa Antonietto!

The Airbnb was perfect. Very clean, spacious, and the shared outdoor areas were stunning!
We hope to make a trip back here and will be recommending this place to anyone traveling through Italy!

This place was truly magical. Once you arrive, you are instantly relaxed by the beautiful view and the lovely furnishings. Lisbeth is very responsive and helpful with directions. She has wonderful recommendations on what to do and where to eat, and as others have said, she will call ahead and make reservations for you. The space itself is well styled and stocked, and the location is the best part. Stovetop espresso every morning in front of the giant patio doors, a really nice rainfall-head tiled shower and a quaint loft. They even left us local ricotta cheese and their own wine and preserves, all delicious. 10/10 would stay again!

Absolut empfehlenswert!

We stayed at Lisbeth’s beautiful place for a wedding in the region, and had an absolutely amazing time. The old house is authentically renovated and is stylishly decorated (à la Italian-Danish fusion). The premise features astonishing views, a swimming pool, sunbeds, a ton of fresh herbs and salads (that one can use for cooking), BBQ, and eating areas to suit your daily mood. Lisbeth is a genuine and hospital host that helps make the stay in the region great, she even booked us a great local pasta restaurant with her choice of menu and drinks.

Highly recommend going to Emilia-Romagna and staying at Lisbeth’s place!

We had a great stay at Casa Antonietto! The little house (perfect for two people) is furnished very nicely with good quality furniture, a fully equipped kitchen and all necessary amenities. The bathroom is comfortable with a nice shower. There is also a much larger house available next door with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. Both houses have access to a small but beautiful pool and ample space to sit and dine or relax with a book, enjoying the view. There are plenty of trees to provide shade and the garden is beautiful.

Upon arrival, we were welcome with a fresh ricotta cheese, a bottle of local wine and home-made jam. Lisbeth and Lars are excellent hosts, very discrete but also quite keen to provide tips and recommendations if asked. They have been living in the area for quite a while and have lots of good suggestions for local restaurants, sites to visit or things to do. On their recommendation, we visited a local vinegar maker and a small cheese production and we had a great time!

From Casa Antonietto, there are plenty of excursions, hikes and visits to do. Note that

We had such a wonderful time at Casa Antonietto. Lisbeth and Lars are such lovely and provides you with local tips and reservations in the best Pasta place you can think of.
The house is located in the Emilian hill perfect location to visit city’s like Modena and Bologna. Definitely a place you should visit if you are looking for a nice relaxing and peaceful place to recharge from the daily stress.

Casa Antoinetto, and specifically Casa Piccolo are absolutely perfect. The location is outstanding, with easy access to everything in the area, if you can be persuaded to leave the breathtaking view from the house. Lisbeth and Lars (and kitten Mephisto) are everything you could want in a host - they offered up suggestions of things to do in the area, including a must-do Balsamic Vinegar tour and the very best meal out we have EVER had. We loved every minute and hope to be back!

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place and would like to discover authentic Italian countryside, don’t search any further. You will basically not only book a place to stay, but also (upon your request), a whole package with cooking classes, recommendations for local restaurants, tours to local cheese, wine, and balsamic vinegar producers, etc. If you wish to visit cities, Modena and Bologna are within an hour reach (you must be comfortable driving serpentine roads). Lisbeth and Lars are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed our stay at their place.

"We had a great time staying with Lisbeth! The little house was exceptionally clean and very well equipped, she even put a bottle of wine in the fridge for us together with some local ricotta and fig jam, thank you! Lisbeth is always there to help and has a lot of good recommendations on offer if you want to do some trips or visit restaurants instead just enjoying these marvelous views from the hill top. I totally recommend staying there, we will certainly be back :-).”

"If you're looking for the perfect hide-away in the beautiful Italian countryside, you have found and come to the right place. It is everything you wish for and even more: Lisbeth & Lars have built a warm and modern home away from home which anticipates and accommodates all your needs - from a fully equipped kitchen, lots of space, a lovely bathroom to a very comfortable bed with a scenic view. […] The icing on the cake are Lisbeth & Lars themselves: Not only will they spoil you with amazing local food, fruit from their garden & wine sitting in your fridge once you arrive, they also love to charmingly share their best recommendations on things to explore and to taste. They really know their way around and have created such a beautiful place - Many thanks for making us feel so welcome and at home, we can't wait to be back for another wonderful time!”

“Couldn't be happier with our stay in the "real Italy". Not only was the house perfectly located with a beautiful view of the sprawling countryside, Lisbeth was a perfect host giving us stellar recommendations for where to eat to experience truly authentic local cuisine without breaking the bank. Highlights for us were relaxing in the pool with the breathtaking view, visiting an Aceteria to taste balsamic vinegar and driving to a restaurant in Acquaria specialising in truffles and mushrooms. Everything was beyond delicious and stunningly beautiful!”
